Validation and Verification of Cavitation in Microchannels by using an Open Source Computational Tool

Cavitation is mostly unwanted in applications due to its unpredictable and distorting effect on fluid flow. On the other hand, modelling expensive terms of time computational power general. Regarding this a tendency for using an open source software such as OpenFOAM emerging promising tool both predicting analyzing cavity formation. With tool, effective reduction license expenses obtained. In study, validation verification solver investigated cavitation microchannels. Experiments are carried out well comparison with results. During experiments, fluorescent particles were introduced flow formation was observed under camera. Therefore, motion also efficiently captured. Overall, experimental results compared contrasted investigate capability OpenFoam chosen conditions.
